Looking at their schedule, it looks like they are traveling approximately 1.5 times as far as we are per day, so hopefully they pass us the day we leave here from Ulan-Ude.

I’m actually surprised at how few other cycling groups we’ve seen on the road. I would have expected a group or two heading the other directions or others such as this group passing us.

I have greatly enjoyed reading your travelogue and viewing your pics the last few months. Sounds like you’re now left with the true adventure part of it, the “missing” portions of the TSH. I found a site of a group who rode from Vladivostok to Netherlands a few years ago at:
